Every one has to start somewhere… even me!
OK, so I had this crazy idea to use MYSELF as an experiment and a testimonial for how effective Balanced Body Bootcamp is at helping our clients lose weight and get in great shape.
I just had my second child (almost 3 months ago exactly) and I’m currently 12 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight (which is higher than where I want to be). I am flabby, weak, fat and out of shape. I know, I’m a trainer, how could I let this happen? Well, enough excuses. It’s time to get real…
Here are my stats and I will post my fitness goals soon…
I am currently 169 pounds, 12 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight of 157.
My measurements are
- Left Arm: 13 inches
- Chest: 37 inches
- Waist: 32 inches
- Hips: 44.5 inches
- Left Thigh: 26.5 inches
The pictures were taken on September 5th and the measurements were taken on September 6th right after my first bootcamp workout.

Just posting this picture is a huge triumph for me in accepting what is so - please don't ask about the tattoo. That is for a different time!
I am thankful for my body. It has produced two beautiful, healthy baby girls; the last one at the ripe old age of 40. And it gets me through every day, even though I haven’t really been taking care of it. We HAVE TO accept our current situation in order for us to be able to move forward and grow.
10 years ago I would NEVER have been able to post pictures of my body in a bikini on the internet. OR EVEN ON MY FRIDGE! I want this blog to be an inspiration for anyone who has ever struggled to lose weight… whether it’s 10 pounds or 100.
I hope you watch me shed the weight and realize you can do ANYTHING you set your mind to.
